Art in the Gardens
This project was part of a studio assignment where we selected a nearby building on campus and devised an event with a call-to-action. We then captured our chosen architecture through photography and embarked on a multi-step drawing technique called 'point, line, and plane' using those photos. This project draws its inspiration from the process of translating a three-dimensional architectural structure into a two-dimensional artwork.
The design finds its roots in the interplay of organic and geometric forms, the architectural elements of Reiman Gardens, and the lively hues of summertime.
